Did You Know…yoga
has existed for centuries, longer than most organized religions on the
planet today? Contrary to popular opinion, the practice of Hatha
Yoga is the practice of mind-body physical exercise. Yoga means “union,”
and specifically in this fitness form, the union of mind, body and the
breath. The body is placed in various positions that increase strength
of some body parts while increasing the flexibility of others.
There are over 8,000 postures for all creatures on the planet and
approximately 800 that humans can do.
